Globe Telecom held a launch yesterday for the Samsung GALAXY S III at The Mind Museum.
The Samsung GALAXY S III will be available on Globe's Unli Surf Combo 999 with P700 monthly cash-out. That makes the phone yours for only P1,699/month for 24 months. The plan comes with unlimited internet and you can also choose one of the following freebies: 10 mins. calls and 200 SMS to Globe/TM, 5 mins. calls and 25 SMS to other networks, 20 mins. IDD call and 10 IDD SMS to 10 destinations, or unlimited calls and text to 1 Globe/TM number. Take note that you can only choose 1 freebie from the above choices.
I also had the chance to get a hands on the GALAXY S III at the event. Upon picking up the phone you'll really notice that it is so light, yet so big. The screen also appears very nice - it's bright, vibrant, and crisp. I've also tried the Pop-up Play feature. I opened a video and watched it while browsing the Internet. It's cool but I can't think of practical uses of it, yet.
You can now get your own Samsung GALAXY S III at Globe Stores or at their website.
