The new iPad. That's the name of Apple's next generation tablet. Not the iPad 2S, iPad 3, or iPad HD. It was finally announced just earlier this morning at Apple's Special Event at San Francisco.

Thew new iPad will be also available at the end of March on Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
Release dates for the Philippines is still not yet available, although the pricing scheme should remain the same.
Meanwhile, iPad 2 SRP has already dropped by P5,000 for the WiFi models and P6,000 for the WiFi + 3G models at the Apple Store Online.

what is your conversion unit to Philippine peso? Is the 23,990 just the Ipad 3 itself? no taxes yet?
It has been the starting price of iPads here for the past 2 years, taxes included.
