ASUS announced yesterday the new MeMO Pad, a 7-iinch $149 tablet that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The ASUS MeMO Pad (pronounced “meemo) is small 7-inch tablet (think Nexus 7) which packs a 1024x600 screen resolution (170 ppi) with a 170-degree viewing angle and 350-nit brightness, 1GHz VIA WM8950 processor, MALI 400 GPU, and 16GB of storage which is expandable by a microSD card up to 32GB. It has a 1 Megapixel front-facing camera which can capture 720p videos at 30 frames per second.
The MeMO Pad runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it comes pre-loaded with ASUS apps such as SuperNote Lite, BuddyBuzz, ASUS WebStorage, ASUS Studio and WebStorage Office.

The ASUS MeMO Pad will be available in the Philippines this February, but the pricing has not been announced yet. It will come in three colors, Sugar White, Titanium Grey, and Cherry Pink.
