That Samsung Galaxy S IV image circulating on the Internet is fake

Samsung Galaxy S IV S4 Philippines

You may have seen an article or two about an alleged leaked photo of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S IV today. The so-called ‘leaked photos’ comes from the ever infamous Twitter user @evleaks, which has been accurate most of the time before.

But before you judge the photo and say anything, good or bad, about the device, I just want to let you know that those images are fake. Twitter user Stefan Constantine asked Expansys, an online electronics retailer, about the image. And truth be told, the company said that the images were just a render made by their web designers and that @evleaks stole and added a watermark on it.

If you are interested, check out Expansys’ placeholder webpage for the Galaxy S IV. The webpage states that the info and images are “not official and is subject to change after the official release of the device.”

7-Eleven Takes Advantage of the Typhoon Sendong Disaster

A genius at 7-Eleven must have found the Typhoon Sendong calamity a good way to attract people on it's Facebook page. I saw this on my Facebook timeline a while ago that 7-Eleven Philippines will donate P10 for every like on their Facebook page, up to P1 Million pesos.

The problem is, why doesn't 7-Eleven just donate the P1 Million to the victims without requiring a 'like' on their Facebook page? I find 7-Eleven's move a self-centered one.

Just give the P1 Million. No 'like us' whatsoever. Just give that amount of money to the victims if you really want to help.

We have already seen this kind of marketing trick back when Bing tweeted that it will donate $1 to the Japan quake victims for every 'retweet' on their Twitter page.

Symbian Belle Release On Early 2012

Symbian Belle was supposed to be out now if a rumour is to be believed. But no. The new update for Symbian is not expected to come until early 2012. This one seems to be a more solid info, as it came from several Nokia accounts online.

So, you willing to wait? Or just go the flashing via Phoenix way?

Marikina River FAIL

Translation: Water in Marikina River, Still far away in Marikina River.

FAIL.
