HTC Butterfly receives Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with Sense 5

HTC Butterfly Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Sense 5 Update

Owners of the HTC Butterfly should start seeing a pretty big update on their devices starting today as HTC has just started to roll out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean along with the new Sense 5 user interface.

The update, which is a hefty 551.69MB download, is now available starting in Taiwan. It also brings HTC BlinkFeed, lock screen widgets, and the quick settings panel in the notification center, a really handy addition especially that Sense doesn’t have that for ages. It also adds the Video Highlights feature found on the HTC One, but Zoe was left out.

To get the update, simply go to Settings > About > Software updates on your device. Take note that you will have to download a small 1.39MB patch before you are able to get the full update. The full changelog is listed below.
