Nokia announces the aluminum-clad Lumia 925

Following months of rumors and speculations, Nokia has finally unwrapped its latest flagship Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 925.

Moving from the usual polycarbonate plastic tradition for Lumia devices, Nokia gave the Lumia 925 an aluminum treatment with real metal surrounding its edges which makes the phone a real looker. What even made it more appealing is the trimmed down body, now just 8.5mm thin. The bezel has also shrunk and now more proportional with the body, similar to that of the Lumia 720.

The Nokia Lumia 925 also features the same 8.7 Megapixels PureView camera found on the Lumia 920, which they tout to be having great low-light capabilities. Not only just that, Nokia has added more camera features on the Lumia 925 too like Action Shots, Best Shot, and Motion Focus thru the new Nokia Smart Camera app which brings it at par with most new Android devices today.

Spec-wise, the Lumia 925 features a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with 1280x768 resolution. It is powered by the 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of storage. It also sports penta-band LTE with support for both Globe’s and Smart’s networks. The battery has also stayed the same at 2,000mAh.
